Prototype B2 · v0.7.0

Make room for the work that matters.

Stuđiô is a local-first Chrome extension for turning a vague day into a reviewed plan, a recoverable focus session, and a clearer picture of time spent in the browser.

A different kind of productivity tool

Assistance should leave room for judgment.

Stuđiô helps shape the next step without quietly taking ownership of the plan. Suggestions remain drafts. Memory remains reviewable. Tracking remains optional and deliberately narrow.

Read the boundaries

Four connected surfaces

Useful when the day is still unfinished.

Every part of the extension can work locally. Gemini and website-time estimates are separate choices, not hidden requirements.

01

Plan without handing over the wheel

Guide me · I make the plan asks about an outcome, a concrete action, time, and commitments. Optional Gemini brainstorming offers questions and ideas; it never fills or submits the manual form.

02

Focus sessions you can recover

Start a timer from a task or a scheduled block, pause when life interrupts, and return to a recoverable session after the panel closes. Recorded time stays distinct from productivity claims.

03

A small, honest view of browser time

Website time is opt-in. It keeps daily milliseconds and hostnames locally, excludes private and browser-internal pages, pauses on idle, and makes no claim to measure the whole device.

04

Memory with an edit button

Custom instructions and learned observations have visible status, evidence, expiry, and forgetting controls. Tentative inferences stay out of assistance until they are confirmed.

Understand saved memory

Start in a few minutes

Small setup. Clearer choices.

No build step or third-party runtime packages are required. Stuđiô runs as an unpacked Chrome extension while this prototype is being tested.

  1. 1

    Load the folder

In Chrome, open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the extracted extension folder.

  2. 2

    Choose your starting point

Open the Stuđiô side panel. Write a task, use the manual guide, or start a focus block. Nothing is sent anywhere just because the extension is installed.

  3. 3

    Add assistance only when useful

Connect Gemini when wanted, choose the model explicitly, and review drafts before saving. Keep the workflow manual whenever that is the better fit.

  4. 4

    Turn tracking on deliberately

Website-time estimates begin only after optional access is approved. Revoke it in Chrome or pause the feature whenever the boundary no longer feels right.

Privacy is part of the product shape

Useful boundaries are visible boundaries.

Tasks, timers, plans, memory, and website-time totals live locally in the extension. Website tracking keeps hostnames, daily milliseconds, and a recovery cursor—not full URLs, page content, screenshots, titles, or a browsing history.

There is no required account or analytics SDK in this prototype.

Review before saving
Gemini can propose; the user decides what becomes a task, block, or memory.

Separate records
Website data is excluded from Gemini prompts, learned memory, diagnostics, and backups.
